 So This past Tuesday I drove to work like every other day in my hot rod Lincoln arrived at work with my key fob in my pocket gathered my lunch pail and coffee and headed down the road to Richmond,va. I did my business in Richmond and headed back to the work yard in reading,pa where I met up with 2 other coworkers and stood around and talked a few minutes about our night at work and just happened to put my hands in my pocket to realize my key fob for my hot rod Lincoln was not in my pocket 😱 I looked in my work truck and everywhere I walked around after I got back to Reading , nothing ! I remembered stopping 1 time to check the securement of my back haul in Maryland and that I used the restroom in Richmond , so waited until the place in Richmond where I used the restroom opened and spoke to them and they looked and said “nope no keys here sorry”. Again horrified 😱 so longer story short ended up driving 95 miles to where I stopped in Maryland and wouldn’t you know it there were my keys sitting on the side of the road ! thank God they were there🙏
so the question is do you think I was crazy to drive that far to see if my keys were there? or should I have just paid the hundreds of dollars to get another key fob for my Hot Rod Lincoln? Please let me know your thoughts. Has this ever happened to you where you lost your car keys and couldn’t even start your car to go Home after a long hard day of work.
